Job Responsibilities: Prepares and serves a variety of beverages, along with cookies. Responds to guests’ orders, questions, concerns, and complaints in a polite and efficient manner. Educates guests by presenting and explaining the beverage menu to them. Prepares beverages by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs. Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations. Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes; and maintaining and improving the appearance of the bar. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Cleans and sanitizes work areas, utensils, and equipment. Checks temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, and heating equipment to ensure that they are functioning properly. Describe menu items to guests and suggest products that might appeal to them. Orders, receives, and stocks supplies and retail products. Takes out the garbage. Weighs, roasts, grinds, and packs coffee beans for guests. Demonstrates the use of retail equipment, such as espresso machines. Sets up and restocks product displays. Labelling and dating items at the bar. Monitors and checks the expiring dates of items at the bar. Ensures that guests’ requests and preferences on their orders are being followed. Responsible for taking and processing takeaway orders. Receiving and processing guests’ payments. Acting as an intermediary between the Human Resourse Department and the restaurant. Assisting the Human Resource Department. Responsible for all restaurant administrative tasks. JOB QUALIFICATION 1. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Management, or related field is a plus. 2. Must have at least 1 year of work experience, in the same or similar role, in an up-scale hospitality environment. 3. Must have good administrative and reporting skills. 4. Must have good communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills. 5. Must have good leadership, multitasking, and management skills. 6. Must be attentive to details, patient, and resourceful. 7. Must have a pleasant personality. 8. Must be professional-looking
