Full Job Description
To help our colleagues maximize their abilities through the effective use of technology: investigate their issues and perform hands-on troubleshooting if necessary.
To be a strong technical voice within the organization by providing training for colleagues and developing self-service resources where possible.
To participate in on-call support rotations; be available for off-hour maintenance and upgrades.
To provide support for network, telephone and audio / visual systems, both day-to-day as well as support for company meetings and events.
To actively monitor and manage requests for technical support * provide accurate detailed work notes into service desk to insure other staff are aware of where work is left off and status updates can be provided on your behalf at any time * · Perform administrative tasks and document internal procedures.
To work with IT staff and management to ensure user-friendly solutions and services are delivered.
To configure and deploy IT equipment and devices and manage inventory tracking.
To research problems and identifies trends in support requests.
To facilitate, assist video conferencing sessions.
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
Providing technical support across the company (Dubai Developments Sites and Roda Hotels and Resort, this may be in person or over the phone)
Responsible for setting up accounts for new users.
Responsible for repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
