Job Description

Position: Control and Instrumentation (C&I) Maintenance Supervisor


1. Maintenance Oversight: Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of control systems and field instrumentation assets of the company's business. Provide support to operations site personnel and supervise contractors and their work.

2. Security Measures: Protect the Industrial Control System (ICS) assets and networks of the company from threats and attacks. Ensure continuous improvement in mission-critical assets management.

Maintenance Responsibilities:

3. Develop a Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule for C&I equipment.

4. Ensure timely execution of PM jobs as per the schedule.

5. Perform prompt repairs and breakdown maintenance of C&I assets.

6. Identify spares and ensure their availability for C&I assets.

7. Manage and administer departmental staff.

8. Establish standard procedures for safe and efficient maintenance of the plant.

9. Ensure compliance with applicable legal and other requirements.

10. Implement and maintain Integrated Management System (IMS) in relevant areas.

11. Provide inputs for preparing the budget.

12. Ensure implementation of Corrective and Preventive actions and address non-conformities.

Cybersecurity Responsibilities:

13. Carry out security measures to monitor and protect sensitive data and systems from infiltration.

14. Ensure compliance with guidelines specified in the Industrial system.

15. Attend periodic SCADA cybersecurity awareness and training programs.

16. Execute jobs assigned by the company to meet Industrial compliance.

Continuous Improvement:

17. Drive various improvements and amendments in plant control and instrumentation, process, and design to enhance efficiency, reliability, and availability.

18. Work closely with C&I Lead Engineer & Maintenance Manager to ensure the implementation of relevant controls, highlighting any risks, incidents, or deviations.

Communication Skills:

19. The candidate should be proficient in English and Arabic.

This is a contract position in the Operations & Maintenance department based in Salalah, Dhofar, Oman. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in control and instrumentation maintenance, cybersecurity, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
