Job Title: Industry Consultant

Job Description: Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division is seeking an Industry Consultant for a senior position within the Industry Consulting team, which is part of the EMIA (Europe Middle East, India, and Africa) Pre-Sales organization. This role reports to the Senior Manager of Pre Sales Middle-East and requires in-depth understanding of industrial facility operations, business processes, and the potential benefits of digitalization and technology. The primary focus is on Asset Lifecycle Management, particularly the Hexagon SDx® Digital Twin solution. Experience and knowledge of construction and completions processes are advantageous, and an interest in other Hexagon solutions is expected.

As an Industry Consultant, you will work closely with the sales teams to establish the value of Hexagon solutions for customers' business outcomes. You will conduct evaluations and assessments of customers' business practices, work processes, and technical environments, making recommendations based on Hexagon solutions. Your responsibilities also include supporting customer meetings, organizing workshops, providing solution presentations, and contributing to proposal responses. You will be involved in defining a strategy, responding to proposals, and presenting at conferences. Additionally, you will collaborate with marketing to provide insights for campaigns and engage in thought leadership activities.

Responsibilities:

Understand customers' business needs and develop an account strategy to achieve desired outcomes.

Conduct evaluations and assessments of customers' business practices, work processes, and technical environments, making recommendations based on Hexagon solutions.

Collaborate with the customer to understand their business objectives, analyze and evaluate their needs, and propose end-to-end workflows and software to meet those needs.

Lead pre-sales requirements workshops, document requirements, and communicate them to the customer and Hexagon teams.

Develop cost-benefit analyses, customer requirements, and solution definitions.

Maintain a strong relationship with other regions' pre-sales teams.

Drive, build, and grow a pipeline of opportunities for asset lifecycle information management solutions.

Work with the internal sales team for lead generation and qualification.

Collaborate with the global PSE team to develop sales enablement packages.

Participate in thought leadership activities and campaigns.

Work closely with Solution Consultants to establish the value of Hexagon's solutions.

Engage with customers at a business level to help define their roadmaps for digital transformation.

Provide input for RFIs and RFPs.

Travel approximately 40% throughout the EMIA region.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record as a successful Industry Consultant or Business Development Consultant.

Experience in Industrial Sales.

Good knowledge of asset lifecycle information management in operations and projects.

Owner Operator and EPC expertise and relationships in key markets and industries.

Knowledge of material management, construction, and completions processes is advantageous.

Engineering/Business degree or equivalent qualification.

Confident and articulate speaker.

Fluent in English; proficiency in other European languages is preferred.

Desirable: Good working knowledge of Hexagon ALI's solutions.

Typical Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar role, particularly in the Chemical process industry, Oil & Gas industry, Power industry, Food & Beverage industry, or the Life Sciences industry.
