Job Description
Job Title: Accommodation and Transport Assistant
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and manage all aspects of accommodation and transportation arrangements for employees and guests.
2. Maintain accurate records of accommodation and transportation expenses and reconcile invoices.
3. Provide guidance and support to employees regarding accommodation and transportation policies and procedures.
4. Manage the company's staff housing, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and compliance with safety standards.
5. Oversee the transportation department and the company's fleet, including drivers' movements, vehicle maintenance, Mulkiya (vehicle registration) registration, and renewal.
6. Negotiate contracts with accommodation providers and transportation vendors to ensure cost-effective and reliable services.
7. Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to accommodation and transportation.
8. Implement initiatives to optimize accommodation and transportation services, aiming for efficiency and cost savings.
9. Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to streamline processes related to accommodation and transportation expenses and budgeting.
10. Handle any accommodation and transportation-related issues promptly and effectively to maintain employee satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accommodation and transportation management, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to accommodation, transportation, and fleet management.
- Experience in negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with employees at all levels.
- Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- UAE driving license is advantageous.
