The Middle East and North Africa Region Vice-Presidency (MNA) serves a population of 355 million across 20 countries. Within this region, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries hold significant importance. The mission of MNA is centered on fostering sustainable growth through job creation, poverty reduction, economic and social inclusion, and good governance. As part of MNA's strategy to enhance client services, Reimbursable Advisory Services (RAS) play a crucial role, particularly in high- and middle-income countries. The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Country Department (MNC05) oversees the provision of RAS to GCC member states, covering a wide array of areas including Equitable Growth, Finance and Institutions, Human Development, and Sustainable Development. The World Bank Country Office in Abu Dhabi manages relations with the Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other stakeholders, overseeing the RAS program in the UAE.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as an E T Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for portfolio monitoring and implementation, budget management, client relations, and various administrative tasks to support the effective delivery of Reimbursable Advisory Services in the UAE. The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree in economics, business, project management, international development, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

- Portfolio Monitoring and Implementation, including Budget and Billing
- Client/Country Relations
- Country Office Duties

Selection Criteria:

- Master’s degree in economics, business, project management, international development, or related field, or equivalent, with 2 years of experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Commitment to teamwork and knowledge-sharing
- English and Arabic fluency
- Strong knowledge of the UAE political economy and institutions
