Job Title: Lab Technologist

Roles & Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly qualified Lab Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Lab Technology and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. As a Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the accuracy of test results.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
2. Prepare and analyze samples, including blood, urine, and tissue samples, using various laboratory equipment and techniques.
3. Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and calibration.
4. Document and record test results accurately and maintain detailed records of all tests performed.
5. Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols.
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
7. Communicate test results effectively to healthcare providers and other relevant personnel.
8. Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
9. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
10. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in laboratory technology, and best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's degree in Lab Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Lab Technologist.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in performing tests and recording results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Proficiency in using laboratory software and computer systems.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
