Light Vehicle Driver

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Light Vehicle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery and pickup of produce, goods, and merchandise within specified areas, ensuring timely and accurate service.

Responsibilities:
1. Drive light vehicles, including pickups and vans, to deliver or pick up produce, goods, and packages within designated areas.
2. Utilize automatic routing or location software to navigate efficiently.
3. Report any mechanical issues encountered with vehicles promptly.
4. Maintain accurate records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, and billing statements in compliance with SILAL requirements.
5. Read maps and follow written and verbal geographic directions.
6. Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to the base or other relevant parties.
7. Ensure all permissions are checked and obtained before vehicle movement.
8. Drive light vehicles to deliver products, commodities, goods, and parcels within specified areas and timeframes.

Requirements:
1. Fluent in English (spoken and written).
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
3. Expert in using automatic routing or location software.
4. Hold a valid UAE driving license (manual) with at least 5 years of driving experience.
5. Excellent geographical knowledge and map-reading skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
7. Ability to report and communicate effectively regarding any delays, accidents, or traffic situations.
8. Compliant with all traffic laws and regulations.

License/Certification:
- Valid UAE driving license (Manual) (Required)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role within the UAE.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Reliability and punctuality.
