Safety Officer

Position: Road Safety Officer


We are currently seeking a dedicated Road Safety Officer with experience in road and bridges works to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ensuring road safety measures are implemented effectively in construction projects, particularly in the areas of road detour works.

*Responsibilities:

- Implement and oversee road safety measures on construction sites, with a focus on road and bridges projects.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures specific to road and bridges works.
- Provide guidance and training to site personnel on road safety practices and procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify and address safety concerns.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to road safety activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in road safety management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- NEBOSH Certificate is a must.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in road safety management, preferably in road and bridges construction projects.
- Experience in road detour works is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
