Service Technician - Abu Dhabi

Job Title: Service Technician - Abu Dhabi

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Policies & Procedures:
- Adhere to all Zahrawi Policies & Procedures applicable to service operations.

2. Preventive Maintenance:
- Plan and execute regular preventive maintenance schedules to comply with Health Authority and Quality Control regulations.
- Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance for all machines under service.

3. Machine Installation:
- Perform installations of all products as trained.
- Coordinate pre-installation requirements for equipment ordered under free commitment or local supply.
- Ensure accurate and proper installation of machines to prevent customer issues.

4. Machine Breakdowns:
- Respond promptly to breakdown calls and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
- Arrange delivery and installation of spare parts as received within stipulated timelines.

5. Trainings:
- Attend scheduled and required training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills.

6. Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain timely filing of weekly reports on service activities.
- Assist the service coordinator in preparing Health Authority/Quality Control documents for new installations.
- Update instrument databases in coordination with the service coordinator.
- Coordinate with the Sales team regarding technical information and conduct pre-installation site visits.
- Share relevant sales leads or information with the Sales team.

7. Reporting:
- Provide weekly reports to the Line Manager on service activities and outcomes.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education: Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the biomedical field, focusing on service and maintenance.
- Skills: Effective communication skills with proficiency in English, strong time management and problem-solving abilities, excellent computer skills (MS Office), ability to work under pressure, and a customer-centric approach.
- Additional Requirements: Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with a valid driving license.
