Job Title: Maintenance Planner

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner for an immediate opening in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintenance planning and the ability to create comprehensive job packages from work orders, ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient execution of maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Job Package Preparation:
- Create job packages from work order scopes, including all required labor, materials, and services.
- Input plans into SAP, detailing necessary resources, materials, and services.
- Store jobs in the active backlog once material availability is confirmed.

- Plan Optimization:
- Utilize feedback from field personnel to enhance archived plans.
- Review work orders for technical completeness and return incomplete orders to PAC/gatekeeper.
- Use archived plans or templates as a basis for new plans where possible.

- Field Checks & Safety:
- Conduct field checks as necessary to ensure accurate planning.
- Identify and solicit safety information and requirements for tasks.
- Archive repetitive job plans and consider constructability and maintainability in plan development.

- Resource Identification:
- Identify required materials, tools, equipment, and safety needs for task execution.
- Notify other crafts of their input requirements for the job plan.
- Recognize deviations from effective technology and recommend improvements.

- Additional Duties:
- Develop and manage archived plans and templates.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SAP (Planning, PM Module, and Materials Module).
- Apply knowledge of planning techniques, including critical path planning.
- Understand and apply maintenance reporting business rules and constraints.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education:
- Diploma in a technical field.

- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in a maintenance environment (Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical).

- Skills:
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and IVPP.
- Ability to develop and manage job packages and archived plans.
- Knowledge of planning techniques, critical path planning, and SAP.
- Understanding of safety aspects, maintenance disciplines, and cost estimating.
- Basic knowledge of piping specifications, outsourcing methodologies, and EH&S procedures.

Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in recognizing safety needs and planning constraints.
- Basic understanding of the units served by the Maintenance Field Team (MFT).
- Ability to identify required resources, including manpower, materials, equipment, and contractor services.
