Job Title: Sales Representative

Job Summary: The Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in driving business development and demand for Drew Marine's products, systems, and services within a designated geographic area or business segment. The primary focus is to promote Drew Marine's offerings, communicate its value proposition, and actively drive sales to both new and existing clients.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Sales Growth: Promote Drew Marine products and services to achieve profitable sales revenue, focusing on both existing and new customers within the assigned territory.

Customer Relationships: Build strong, secure, and trust-based customer relationships.

Sales Targets: Achieve growth and meet sales targets by developing new business and nurturing existing client relationships.

Proposal Management: Prepare and expedite proposals for products and equipment, following the bid process through to conclusion.

Account Management: Efficiently manage assigned accounts while maintaining high levels of technical follow-up and customer service.

Sales Forecast: Prepare sales forecasts for assigned clients.

Reporting: Create monthly reports summarizing key sales, client, and territory activities for submission to management.

Sales Targets: Meet annual sales targets as outlined in the Sales Incentive Program.

Opportunity Identification: Continuously identify sales opportunities within the assigned territory or market segment.

Account Analysis: Provide detailed account analysis for each assigned account, including historical sales, current sales, and forecasts.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and updated records on assigned accounts and potential new account activities.

Policy Adherence: Support and comply with company policies, values, strategic objectives, as well as sales department objectives and procedures.

Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Technical and Marketing teams to ensure the necessary support for sales and service efforts.

Participation: Actively attend and contribute to company meetings, technical and sales training, and strategy seminars.

Competitor Awareness: Stay informed about company competitors, their service offerings, and activities within the assigned territory, taking necessary action to retain accounts.

Other Duties: Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Skills

Bachelor's degree in Marine, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum of 2 years of experience, with preference in the maritime industry.

A sailing background is an added advantage but not necessary.

Strong analytical skills and effective communication abilities.

Trained and experienced in influence and persuasion techniques.

Proficiency in various software systems, with significant experience in CRM, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, and resilient.

A team player with innovative and creative qualities.

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marine, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Physical Working Environment:

The role primarily involves working in the UAE, with a significant amount of work conducted from home. It includes preparing proposals and solutions and frequent visits to customer offices.
