About the job:

As a Migration Developer at Aspire, you will be an integral part of a highly skilled software team dedicated to projects such as the Digital Onboarding Portal, Payment Gateway, and other applications. Operating within an agile software development environment, you will follow best practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD), Lean, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and Microservices.

What you’ll do:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements.
- Develop and implement RESTful APIs, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) jobs, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of the system.
- Develop and maintain automated tests, integration tests, and deployment pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to code quality standards.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of new systems and features.

What you’ll need:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a preference for proficiency in Java/Scala.
- Experience in designing and architecting systems, including knowledge of design patterns, scaling, and reliability considerations.
- Experience in creating and configuring ETL jobs, with knowledge of Spark technology considered beneficial.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in managing software components on cloud platforms such as Azure, Oracle, or AWS.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards, code reviews, GIT, and operations.
