Air freight Operations Executive

Position: Freight Operations Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Accurately track and trace cargo movements, ensuring timely and precise client billing.

Dispatch freight and diligently monitor reports to ensure efficient operations.

Effectively communicate with customers, vendors, and internal/external stakeholders via email, phone, instant messaging, and in-person interactions.

Contribute to maintaining robust vendor relationships, including airlines, trucking companies, and other relevant partners.

Uphold compliance standards by adhering to internal policies, external government regulations, and meeting customer requirements consistently.

Meet key performance indicators to support departmental, branch, product, and company objectives.

Demonstrate a proactive interest in understanding and optimizing departmental processes for enhanced efficiency.

Provide customer quotes promptly upon request.

Skills & Qualifications:

Preferred Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

1-3 years of experience in air freight operations, preferably within a freight forwarding or logistics company.

Comprehensive understanding of international shipping regulations, customs clearance procedures, and import/export documentation requirements.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating the building and maintenance of client and stakeholder relationships.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office management software.

Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
