Job Description: Senior Network Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.

2. Monitor and troubleshoot WAN connectivity to service providers and customers.

3. Troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues related to network routing, switching, security, VPN tunnels, wireless, and voice.

4. Maintain and update network documentation, including diagrams and configurations.

5. Provide technical support to enterprise customers, resolving complex issues and proactively preventing recurring problems.

6. Regularly review the health of the network to ensure optimal operation.

7. Eliminate single points of failure and conduct regular testing of fail-over plans.

8. Possess knowledge of network protocols, network administration, and network security.

Additional Responsibilities for Network Security Engineer:

1. Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade networks.

2. Administer AV and deep security for endpoints and servers.

3. Monitor security logs and review threats to identify intrusions.

4. Ensure network security and connectivity.

5. Monitor network performance and test for weaknesses.

6. Set up user accounts, permissions, and passwords.

7. Define network policies and procedures.

8. Troubleshoot and administer Cisco and Dell switches (L2 and L3).

9. Configure and administer firewalls (PaloAlto, Fortigate, Forcepoint, ASA, Cisco FTD).

10. Administer NAC solutions (ISE, Forti NAC).

11. Configure and administer WAF and LTM (F5 or Citrix Netscaler).

12. Monitor and provide daily reports on the network.

13. Configure ADSL, SDSL, MPLS lines, and administer wireless access points.

14. Monitor and test application performance, anticipating potential bottlenecks.

15. Enforce firewall policies based on access rights matrix.

16. Implement and troubleshoot remote access solutions (IPsec, SSL VPN).

17. Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.

18. Provide evidence and address findings related to network security reviews.

19. Migrate and replace security and network devices.

20. Configure and troubleshoot Cisco NEXUS switches.

21. Configure Cisco IP phones and manage them on Call Manager (CUCM) for a call center.

Key Requirements:

- CCNP, CCDP certification.

- Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Forcepoint, Fortigate, IPS/IDS, F5.

- 2-3 years of relevant experience.

- BSc in Engineering.

- Sharp troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work independently.

- Organizational and mentoring skills.

- CCNA certification is a must, CCNP is preferable.
