Job Title: Pharmacy

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Perform drug dispensing to patients and provide over-the-counter counseling.
- Supervise and oversee the activities of the pharmacy during assigned shifts, assuming responsibility for the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
- Organize and direct pharmacists and assistants to ensure efficient workflow within the pharmacy, meeting operational requirements.
- Offer pharmacological information to healthcare professionals, addressing inquiries and requests, and providing counseling to patients on drug therapies.
- Ensure compliance with governing drug laws set forth by the board of pharmacy, the drug enforcement administration, and the food and drug administration.
- Manage pharmacy inventory by removing outdated and damaged drugs, supervise support personnel, maintain current registration, stay informed about existing and new legislation, and advise management on necessary actions.
- Uphold a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Stay updated on pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team's efforts by achieving related results as needed.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Demonstrated experience as a pharmacist, showcasing proficiency in pharmaceutical practices.
- Thorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement, chemical compounds, medical brands, etc.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Pharmacy information systems (e.g., MediTech, Mediware, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage pharmacy operations.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach, fostering positive interactions.
- Possess integrity and compassion in dealing with patients and colleagues.
- Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology from a recognized institution.
- Hold a valid license to practice the pharmacy profession.
