Roles & Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with 2-4 years of experience in the UAE market, preferably in trading, particularly in the building material sector. The ideal candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of LC (Letter of Credit) procedures, as well as proficiency in handling General Ledger (GL), Account Payables (AP), Account Receivables (AR), and petty cash. Below are the key roles and responsibilities associated with this position:

- Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including but not limited to General Ledger (GL), Account Payables (AP), Account Receivables (AR), and petty cash.
- Utilize expertise in trading, particularly in the building material sector, to ensure accurate financial transactions and reporting.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Letter of Credit (LC) procedures and effectively navigate related processes.
- Maintain meticulous records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth financial operations.
- Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with auditing standards and procedures.
- Implement best practices in financial management to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, incorporating relevant updates into accounting practices.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement strategies for financial growth and stability.
- Perform any other accounting-related tasks and duties as assigned by the management.

Desired Candidate Profile:

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience as an Accountant in the UAE market, preferably in trading, with specific experience in the building material sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Letter of Credit (LC) procedures and familiarity with trading processes.
- Proficiency in handling General Ledger (GL), Account Payables (AP), Account Receivables (AR), and petty cash.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately analyze financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
