Accountant

Job Title: Accountant

Key Responsibilities
- Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Perform cash and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare VAT returns in compliance with regulations.
- Maintain daily timesheets for all employees.
- Generate invoices and quotations for clients.
- Prepare and post general journal entries.
- Monitor and control bad debts.
- Process salaries through WPS (Wage Protection System).
- Compile collection and payment reports monthly.
- Follow up on collections via calls and emails.

Requirements
- Experience:
- 1 year of experience in accounting (Preferred).
- Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Preferred).
- Other:
- Knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
