Job Title: Ambulance Driver/EMT

Roles & Responsibilities:

Job Description:

- Safely operate an ambulance to transport patients to medical facilities, strictly adhering to all traffic rules and regulations.

- Provide basic first aid and emergency medical care to patients during transport, as required and within the scope of training.

- Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of the ambulance, maintaining proper stocking and functionality of all medical equipment and supplies.

- Effectively communicate with dispatchers, medical personnel, and other emergency responders to coordinate patient care and transportation.

- Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and empathy when interacting with patients, families, and bystanders.

- Adhere strictly to all protocols, procedures, and guidelines established by the organization and relevant regulatory agencies.

- Complete all necessary documentation and reports accurately and promptly.

- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in emergency medical care and ambulance operations.

- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.

Requirements:

- Hold a valid UAE driving license, with prior experience in driving emergency vehicles.

- Possess certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and equivalent emergency medical training.

- Maintain an excellent driving record with no history of traffic violations.

- Demonstrate strong knowledge of UAE traffic laws and road safety practices.

- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and in emergency situations.

- Exhibit good communication skills and work effectively as part of a team.

- Maintain physical fitness and capability to lift and carry patients as required.

- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Previous experience in an ambulance driver role is preferred.

- Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Arabic or other languages considered advantageous.
