Job Description

As a Service Advisor for our garage in the UAE market, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering top-notch customer service. Here's a detailed overview of the responsibilities, qualifications, and skills required for this position:

Responsibilities:

1. Welcome customers warmly and address their vehicle service needs and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
2. Effectively communicate with customers to understand their requirements and provide detailed explanations of the services we offer.
3. Provide accurate estimates for service costs and repair timelines to manage customer expectations.
4. Schedule service appointments efficiently and manage workflow to ensure timely service delivery.
5. Act as a liaison between customers and our technical team, facilitating clear communication and efficient service.
6. Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle and any changes to estimated costs or completion times.
7. Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products that could benefit the customer's vehicle.
8. Explain the value and necessity of recommended services to customers to empower them to make informed decisions.
9. Maintain meticulous records of services performed, customer interactions, and transaction details for future reference.
10. Prepare and present service reports to management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
11. Handle billing and payment processing accurately and promptly, resolving any discrepancies efficiently.
12. Conduct pre- and post-service vehicle inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
13. Address customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively, aiming for satisfactory resolutions.
14. Follow up with customers post-service to ensure their satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
15. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to foster loyalty and trust.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry.
2. Familiarity with automotive services, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
3. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or automotive training is advantageous.
4. Certifications related to automotive service advising or customer service are beneficial.

**Skills:**

1. Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and common automotive issues.
2. Ability to explain technical information in a clear and accessible manner to customers.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
