Coordinator- Project Freight

Position: Project Freight Coordinator

Main Responsibilities:

1. Conduct outbound calls to new customers to introduce company products and services, aiming to achieve set sales targets.
2. Conduct field visits to promote services, understand customer needs, and build strong client relationships.
3. Collect air and sea freight shipping documents from customers, ensuring compliance with UAE government requirements.
4. File required documents and assist customers with inquiries regarding shipping procedures.
5. Liaise with internal teams to enhance shipping operations and services, ensuring effective communication.
6. Follow up on shipment processes from confirmation to delivery, providing updates to customers.
7. Monitor invoicing and payment collection from customers, following up as necessary.
8. Report sales and customer issues to management on a daily basis.
9. Utilize analytical skills to identify market opportunities and contribute to business growth.
10. Stay updated on developments and changes in the international shipping industry.
11. Provide regular reports on sales performance and goal achievements.
12. Obtain loading and lashing quotes for project jobs, coordinating with competitive lashing companies.
13. Ensure timely arrival of trailers and lashing teams at loading sites to minimize detention costs.
14. Coordinate with transport and lashing teams for loading and delivery into port, ensuring compliance with shipping line guidelines.
15. Update shipping lines on any issues related to transporters and equipment return.
16. Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Education: Bachelor's degree (Required)

Experience: 3 years in a Coordinator position in a freight forwarding company (Required)
