Light Duty Driver

Position Title: Light Duty Driver

Key Accountabilities of the Role:

- Knowledgeable about scheduled and preventive maintenance schedules and perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking oil, fuel, brakes, lights, windshield wipers, water, and tire pressures.
- Drive safely following traffic rules at all times, including parking regulations.
- Respectful to the rights of other drivers on the road.
- Learn and follow correct routes to complete assigned tasks promptly.
- Ensure sufficient fuel in the tank and refill at appropriate intervals using the provided fuel card facility.
- Maintain both internally and externally clean and mechanically sound vehicles.
- Attend safety meetings as required.
- Maintain a clean driving track record with no at-fault accidents or traffic violations.
- Keep required records of work performed, report accidents, incidents, and unusual occurrences promptly.
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary.

- Ability to operate a loaded passenger bus or goods vehicle safely and efficiently.

- Punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have:

- High school diploma/graduation.
- At least 5 years of excellent driving and customer service experience directly related to the specified duties and responsibilities.
- Commitment to a highly flexible working schedule aligned with business requirements.
- Ability to plan routes carefully for quick and safe travel.
- Clean driving track record with no at-fault accidents or traffic violations.
