Job Title: Operations and Development Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Operations and Development Manager to lead and supervise our workshop and operations personnel. This role is crucial for achieving the company's strategic, quality, and operational objectives. The Operations and Development Manager will ensure adherence to company policies, support the engineering team, manage resources effectively, and oversee production planning to meet quality and production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Supervision:
- Lead and supervise workshop and operations personnel.
- Support and communicate with subordinate staff to ensure high operational standards and clear understanding of expectations.

2. Strategic Contribution:
- Contribute towards the achievement of the company's strategic, quality, and operational objectives.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and standards.

3. Engineering Support:
- Support the engineering team to ensure the availability of the latest engineering documents.
- Review all engineering drawings and documents issued at WOM ME.

4. Resource Management:
- Arrange facility costing, expenditure, personnel, and equipment utilization reports.
- Ensure the most effective use of available resources.

5. Production Planning:
- Review production planning to achieve production and quality targets.
- Ensure the operation meets client requirements for existing and future contracts and projects.

6. Quality Assurance:
- Support the QA/QC Manager to implement effective quality procedures.
- Ensure the manufacturing process complies with the QMS.

7. Standards and Approvals:
- Review standards for API specified products and components.
- Approve changes in operation sequence, resources, workshop layouts, and machine shop layouts.
- Approve department documents, material requisitions, in-house drawings, and purchase of required components.

8. Maintenance Support:
- Support the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance of workshop equipment and tools.
- Assist the workshop manager in preparing and ordering spares to minimize downtime.

9. Client and Project Management:
- Ensure timely delivery of repaired, refurbished, and re-certified equipment.
- Efficiently handle after-sales service and repair.
- Attend contract review and project kick-off meetings, and approve contract review documents.

10. Operational Efficiency:
- Ensure all production activities are performed correctly, cost-effectively, and timely.
- Ensure on-time customer deliveries.
- Determine adequate manning levels to meet business needs.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Experience:
- Minimum 12 years of prior experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- At least five years in a supervisory role.

- Education:
- Engineering educational background.

- Skills:
- Good communication and organizational skills.
