Job Title: Operations Manager Remote

The Remote Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of Regional Remote Operations Centres (ROCs). This position involves optimizing operational performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and aligning regional strategies with the organization's overall objectives. Through effective leadership, the Remote Operations Manager ensures that ROCs contribute significantly to the company's success in remote operations, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and technological innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

- Monitor personnel utilization and assist project managers in maintaining accurate equipment rentals.
- Ensure sufficient numbers of adequately trained operational personnel to meet business needs.
- Develop operational plans to safely and efficiently execute project deliverables.
- Establish emergency response plans to ensure operational continuity.
- Maintain uptime rates of remote operations facilities.
- Drive changes in operational practices in line with Fugro Strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology Management, Survey, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent based on knowledge and experience.
- Minimum of 8-15 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of demonstrated leadership and management experience.
- Working experience in Geodata.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with current industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory standards.
- Willingness to travel for project oversight, team coordination, and stakeholder meetings.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies and operational requirements.
- Strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and quality control.
