Job Description: Sales Engineer


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Actively promote Drew Marine products and services, driving profitable sales revenue for both existing and new customers within the assigned territory.
2. Build robust and secure customer relationships based on trust and value, ensuring customer satisfaction.
3. Achieve sales growth and targets by developing new business opportunities and expanding with existing customers.
4. Prepare and expedite proposals for products and equipment, overseeing the bid process from initiation to conclusion.
5. Manage assigned accounts professionally, with efficient customer service and technical follow-up practices.
6. Develop and execute a customer contact plan to address service needs and inquiries promptly.
7. Prepare sales forecasts for assigned clients and provide monthly reports on key sales and territory activities.
8. Meet annual sales targets outlined in the Sales Incentive Program.
9. Identify continuous sales opportunities within the assigned territory or market segment.
10. Conduct detailed account analysis, including historical and current sales, and forecasts for each assigned account.
11. Maintain accurate records on assigned accounts and potential new account activities.
12. Liaise with Technical and Marketing teams to provide necessary support to sales and service efforts.
13. Attend Company meetings, technical and sales training, and contribute actively to strategy seminars.
14. Stay informed about Company competitors, their offerings, and ongoing activities within the assigned territory.
15. Collaborate with sales management and develop action plans to retain accounts with the Company.
16. Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Marine, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the maritime industry, sailing background is advantageous.
- Good analytical skills and effective communication abilities.
- Trained in influence and persuasion, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of CRM, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, enthusiastic, and resilient.
- Team player with innovative and creative qualities.

Education/Certifications:

- Must have a valid driver’s license.

Physical Working Environment:

The position requires working in the UAE, mostly from home, preparing proposals with solutions, and regularly visiting customer offices.
