Job Title: Security Guard

Job Summary

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. This role involves patrolling the premises, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings and equipment, and controlling access points. The Security Guard is also tasked with responding to emergencies and reporting incidents to management.

Key Responsibilities

Patrol and Surveillance:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security.
- Monitor and operate surveillance equipment (CCTV) to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
- Inspect buildings, gates, and other areas to ensure security measures are in place and functioning.

Access Control:
- Manage access to the premises by checking identification, logging visitors, and issuing passes.
- Ensure only authorized personnel and visitors enter restricted areas.

Incident Response:
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
- Provide first aid or CPR if needed and alert emergency services as required.
- Detain or evict violators as necessary.

Reporting:
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.
- Prepare and submit incident reports to management.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement when required.

Customer Service:
- Assist employees and visitors with security-related inquiries.
- Provide directions and support to ensure a positive visitor experience.

Qualifications and Skills

Education and Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in basic first aid and CPR preferred.
- Security certification (SIRA or PSBD) is a plus.

Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a security role.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the UAE is advantageous.

Skills:
- Observation Skills: Keen attention to detail to detect unusual or suspicious activities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Physical Fitness: Good physical condition to perform patrolling duties and respond to emergencies.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with security systems and equipment.
- Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Professionalism: High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism.

Working Conditions

- Hours: Full-time position with shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Environment: Both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to various weather conditions.
