Job Title: Senior Accountant

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in fixed assets management, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and proficiency in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The role requires strong budgeting skills, KPI monitoring, and the ability to handle accounting functions across multiple companies within a group or holding structure.

Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the fixed assets accounting process, ensuring accurate recording, depreciation calculation, and reconciliation.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor management, and customer invoicing.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards in financial reporting and accounting processes.
- Develop and monitor budgets, analyze variances, and prepare financial reports for management review.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial performance and efficiency.
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support strategic planning initiatives.
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements for multiple entities within the group.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
- Provide guidance and leadership to junior accounting staff, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and procedures.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in a group or holding company structure.
- Solid experience in fixed assets management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA, CMA, or similar is required.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and KPI management.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Candidate must be locally available in Dubai.
