We are looking for a highly organized and strategic Taxi Operations Manager to lead our operations department, ensure compliance with local regulations, and enhance our service delivery. This role is crucial for the effective management of our fleet and workforce, as well as fostering a positive company culture and strong public relations.

Job Purpose Summary:

The Taxi Operations Manager is responsible for team building, department setup, communication with government authorities, employee training, fleet management, scheduling, performance system development, and service authorization. This role also involves supporting the General Manager in improving operational performance and increasing revenue.

Responsibilities:

- Team Building and Department Setup:
- Develop and implement plans for the operations department structure and standards.
- Build and maintain an efficient and cohesive team within the operations department.

- Government and Authority Communication:
- Serve as the primary liaison with RTA, Dubai government, and related departments and authorities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders.

- Employee Training and Development:
- Create and implement comprehensive training plans for company employees.
- Ensure all employees receive necessary training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.

- Fleet Operation and Management:
- Oversee and manage the company’s fleet operations, ensuring vehicles are maintained and operated efficiently.
- Implement strategies to optimize fleet usage and minimize downtime.

- Scheduling and Attendance:
- Execute and manage time schedules for employees.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and manage employee postings effectively.

- Company Culture and Public Relations:
- Develop and promote initiatives to foster a positive company culture.
- Manage public relations efforts to maintain and enhance the company’s image.

- Performance System Setup:
- Develop and implement a performance management system with KPIs.
- Conduct regular inspections and reviews to monitor and improve employee performance.

- Service Authorization:
- Authorize and oversee the provision of taxi services in compliance with RTA regulations.

- Operational Performance Improvement:
- Assist the General Manager in improving operational performance and key indicators.
- Implement strategies to increase revenue and enhance service delivery.

- Additional Responsibilities:
- Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by the board of directors.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
- Proven experience working with government authorities in the UAE.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Other Requirements:
- Familiarity with RTA regulations and requirements.
- Understanding of fleet management and maintenance.
- Knowledge of performance management systems and KPI development.
