Job Title: Photo Collection and Annotation

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Photo Collection and Annotation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for curating and annotating photo collections for various projects and applications. You will work closely with our research and development teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of the collected data.

Responsibilities:

1. Collect and curate photo collections from various sources, including databases, websites, and proprietary sources, according to project requirements and specifications.

2. Conduct thorough annotation and tagging of photos using established guidelines and protocols to provide meaningful context and metadata for each image.

3. Perform quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of annotations, and make necessary corrections or enhancements as needed.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, data scientists, and software developers, to understand project objectives and requirements, and deliver annotated photo datasets that meet project deadlines.

5. Maintain organized documentation and records of annotated photo collections, including metadata, annotations, and any relevant project documentation.

6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in photo annotation techniques, tools, and technologies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our annotation processes.

7. Adhere to data privacy and security protocols to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of collected photo data.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Science, or Data Science.

2. Proven experience in photo collection, annotation, or data labeling, preferably in a research or industry setting.

3. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and consistency in annotation tasks.

4. Proficiency in using annotation tools and software for image labeling and tagging (e.g., Labelbox, CVAT, VGG Image Annotator).

5. Solid understanding of image processing concepts, metadata standards, and data management principles.

6. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

8. Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques for image recognition and classification is a plus.
