Job Title: Specialist Safety Training

We are seeking a highly qualified Specialist Safety Training professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation safety management, with a focus on aerodrome safety and training programs. This role requires a deep understanding of aviation legislation and safety standards, as well as the ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Training Development & Delivery:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs related to aerodrome safety management.
- Ensure training content meets the latest safety standards and regulations.
- Prepare and update training materials, including manuals and presentations.

- Safety Management:
- Apply advanced knowledge of ICAO Annexes 14 and 19, and ICAO Doc 9859 to safety training programs.
- Demonstrate competency in Aerodrome Safety Management Systems.

- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with aviation legislation and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of training programs and participant progress.

- Skills & Competency Development:
- Utilize advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for creating training materials and reports.
- Employ analytical skills to assess training effectiveness and make improvements.

- Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Exhibit effective communication skills to engage with trainees and stakeholders.
- Provide support and guidance to trainees to ensure understanding and application of safety practices.

Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum Qualification:
- University degree in aviation management or a related field.
- ACI Safety Management Diploma or equivalent is desirable.
- Training in Aviation Legislation and ICAO Annexes.
- Certification demonstrating competency in preparing and delivering training programs.

- Minimum Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience with a special focus on aerodrome safety and relevant training programs.

- Job Specific Skills:
- Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough understanding of ICAO Annexes 14 and 19, and ICAO Doc 9859.
