Job Description

Job Title: Logistics/Delivery Manager

We are seeking a skilled Logistics/Delivery Manager to oversee and enhance our delivery operations. This role involves developing and adhering to delivery policies and procedures, managing business relationships, resolving complaints, and improving service standards.

Core Responsibilities:

- Policy Development: Support the management team in creating and adhering to policies and procedures for the delivery business.
- Business Development: Conduct business reviews with clients, identify opportunities for increased revenue and market share, and develop new business by researching potential customers.
- Client and Vendor Relations: Provide excellent service to build strong relationships and resolve operational issues between vendors and the company.
- Performance Monitoring: Supervise team productivity, work standards, and service levels through regular performance reviews and initiatives.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve Incident Management Cases, customer and vendor complaints, and other issues through various communication channels.
- Cash Collection: Resolve cash collection issues with relevant stakeholders.
- Audits and Site Visits: Conduct audits and site visits to address issues raised through complaints.
- KPI Management: Monitor, control, and improve customer/vendor contact KPIs related to rider reasons.
- Customer Service: Enhance relationships and experiences between riders, vendors, and customers, and ensure professional delivery standards.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the delivery business or postal services, with a proven track record in logistics control in Oman.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Google Suite tools (GDoc, GSheet, GSlides, GForms) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. English fluency is essential; Arabic and Urdu are a plus.
- Omani driving license is a must.
- Certifications: Certified Professional in Logistics or Supply Management is a plus.
