Job Description: Product Specialist (Urology Products) - Western & South Region

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Product Specialist for Urology Products in the Western & South Region, your primary responsibility is to market and sell the assigned products to both government and private hospitals. You are expected to satisfy customer needs and achieve set sales targets. In addition, providing customers with proper training on product usage through in-service sessions and presentations is a crucial aspect of the role.

1. Sales Calls and Product Promotion:
- Arrange, conduct, and perform sales calls to potential and existing customers, illustrating product features and presenting them as benefits that match customer needs.
- Performance Indicators:
- Number of visits to customers per week/month.
- Market coverage.

2. RFQ Generation and Submission:
- Conduct meetings with purchasing and materials departments to generate Request for Quotations (RFQs) based on TART Medical product specifications.
- Submit offers/bids within customer-specified time frames and follow up until the receipt of the purchase order.
- Performance Indicators:
- Achieve assigned target.
- Efficacy on submission dates and clear offers.

3. Order Processing and Delivery:
- Collect purchase orders from customers on time and prepare Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to place orders with principals.
- Ensure timely preparation of delivery orders and on-time goods delivery to avoid penalties.
- Performance Indicators:
- Achieve assigned target.
- Penalty elimination.
- Customer satisfaction.

4. Follow-Up on Previous Orders:
- Follow up on previously awarded orders, complete deliveries, provide customer training, and coordinate invoicing.
- Performance Indicators:
- Clearing all pending deliveries and orders.
- Customer final acceptance and documentation for customer payment.

5. Tender Preparation:
- Assist the tender manager in the technical preparation of the bill of quantity for tenders related to promoted products.
- Submit tenders on time and provide accurate financial totals for bid bond preparation.
- Performance Indicators:
- Submitting tenders on time.
- Achieving assigned target.
- Providing accurate financial totals.

6. Competitor Reporting:
- Report competitors' activities to update management and take measures to maintain existing accounts.
- Performance Indicators:
- Market coverage and share.
- Achieve target.

7. Customer Analysis and SWOT:
- Prepare Needs Analysis for each customer and conduct periodic SWOT analysis for each customer and product.
- Performance Indicators:
- Complete updated customer profiles.
- Identification of opportunities, weaknesses, and threats.

8. Activity Reporting:
- Daily use of the activity reporting system to complete all required tasks and build a comprehensive database.
- Performance Indicators:
- Completing all required tasks within the identified time frame.
- Database building.

Job Context & Operating Environment:
This position reports to the Area Manager, and the job holder is responsible for the sales and promotion of assigned products. The role involves implementation based on strategies passed on by the management.

Job-Specific Challenges:
- Maintain existing business and generate new business.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain and update complete customer profiles.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Knowledge:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a Medical-based field, Science, Biology, Chemistry.
- Experience: 3 – 5 Years.
- Special Skills: Basic medical knowledge.
- Language: Fluent in English and Arabic.
