Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business growth opportunities, building strong relationships with clients and partners, and driving revenue through new business acquisition. This is a key role in the company’s growth strategy, and you will work closely with senior leadership to help expand our market presence and achieve strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify and research new business opportunities through market analysis, networking, and inbound and outbound lead generation. Engage with potential clients and partners to understand their needs and introduce our products and services.Sales Strategy Development:
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies for acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing clients. This includes defining target markets, sales tactics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, partners, and potential clients. Provide a high level of customer service to ensure satisfaction and continued partnership.Proposal Development & Negotiation:
Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and contracts for new business opportunities. Work closely with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs while negotiating terms and closing deals.Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities. Utilize this information to refine strategies and ensure competitive positioning.Collaboration & Reporting:
Collaborate with the marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure smooth implementation of new business initiatives. Regularly report on sales performance, pipeline status, and business development activities to senior leadership.Achieving Sales Targets:
Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Track sales metrics and performance against KPIs to drive continual improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience:
3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
Proven track record of success in generating new business and meeting sales targets.
Experience working with senior executives and managing client relationships.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and proposal development abilities.
Ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of market research and sales processes.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
