Job Description: Cashier Job Responsibilities: 1. Regularly check and respond to emails. 2. Pick up the cash envelope in Front Office with Security. 3. Arrange the cash envelope and conduct cash count with finance witness. 4. Prepare foreign currency and exchange foreign currency for Fairmont the Palm. 5. Deposit cash collection for the day, including encased cheques if any. 6. Release due back, denomination change, and expenses, preparing GC report. 7. Deposit cash in the machine (currency into AED), create cashier ID if any, reprint receipt if any. 8. Conduct cash spot check. 9. Prepare reimbursement expenses and Cash Salary. 10. Prepare HB contract and issue keys if needed. 11. Send emails to the concerned department in case of any discrepancy. 12. Receive and issue receipts for cash payments such as air ticket difference, lost name badge, locker key, and micros card. 13. Hand over the cash to FO, post it in PM, and hand over the backup with the original receipt to AR, providing details. 14. Request printer roll from Transguard for the Transguard machine. 15. Send emails to the Transguard team in case of errors or discrepancies while dropping cash in the machine. 16. Request denomination change in DIB by sending emails followed by the required cash breakdown. 17. Send emails to Income Auditor in case of discrepancies between micros and opera. 18. Prepare GC JV on a daily basis and hand it over to the Income Auditor for posting. 19. Keep filing up to date. Qualifications: - Diploma in a relevant field. - Computer literate (Microsoft Office, FMC, Opera). - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Excellent organizational skills.
