Job Description: Government Relations Officer

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Government relations.

- Provide assistance to departments in interpreting, orienting, training, and analyzing Government relations matters.

- Administer Human Resources policies and procedures related to required working visas for employment.

- Guide and advise staff on the application of local policies and procedures in handling employment documents.

- Ensure submission of appropriate documentation and pre-employment procedures for new hires.

- Manage travel arrangements for identified employees, including arrival preparations.

- Prepare, submit, and collect documentary requirements such as visas, visa renewals, and changes of status for staff and authorized dependents.

- Handle Visa Cancellation Forms for departing staff, ensuring necessary formalities and updating immigration lists.

- Manage absconding staff cases and handle formalities for visa cancellation.

- Administer Human Resources policies and procedures related to working visas for employment.

- Provide guidance to staff on local policies and procedures related to employment documents.

- Monitor and arrange all licenses needed to operate the hotel and for entertainers.

- Track the validity of working papers, processing renewals as needed.

- Handle guest transit visas and visit visas, ensuring timely renewal or cancellation upon departure.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in the same role in the UAE.

- Thorough understanding and knowledge of UAE Law.

- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing Arabic.

- Fluent in English.

- Pleasing personality with a well-focused individual.
