Job Description:

As the Executive Chef, you will lead the overall kitchen operations of the hotel. Responsibilities include training and managing kitchen team members, supervising and coordinating all culinary activities, estimating food consumption and purchasing, selecting and developing recipes, standardizing production of dishes to ensure consistent quality, establishing presentation standards, planning and pricing menus, ensuring proper equipment operation and maintenance, and maintaining safety and sanitation in the kitchen. Additionally, you may be required to cook certain dishes for special occasions and oversee special events. The Executive Chef is responsible for hiring, people development, performance reviews of the kitchen team, and reporting to the General Manager. Driving revenue and ensuring profitable kitchen operations are also key responsibilities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree or related Culinary degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of industry and culinary management experience.
- Experience in remote locations and multi-property management is highly desirable.
- Previous experience controlling food and labor costs.
- Previous experience with demonstration cooking, menu development, and pricing development.
- Passion for leadership and teamwork.
- Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence.
- Excellent guest service skills.
