Job Title: OT Cybersecurity Network Operation Services

Overview:
The OT Cybersecurity Network Operation Services role focuses on ensuring the security, integrity, and availability of Operational Technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environments. The position involves system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of specialized cybersecurity applications and systems. This role is crucial in protecting critical infrastructure by implementing and managing cybersecurity measures within OT/ICS networks, particularly in industries like oil and gas.

Key Responsibilities:

- System Administration:
- Perform system administration tasks on specialized cybersecurity applications and systems for OT/ICS environments, including antivirus, firewalls, IPS/IDS, data diodes, secure remote support access, and passive security monitoring.
- Handle the installation, configuration, maintenance, backup, and restoration of these systems in accordance with operational procedures.

- Firewall and Switch Management:
- Plan, implement, and configure OT firewall and switch solutions.
- Manage related migration activities, fine-tune policies/ACLs, perform appliance upgrades, and provide ongoing support.

- Change Management:
- Prepare and document method statements for any changes within the OT environment, ensuring compliance with internal standards and procedures.

- Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
- Implement, configure, and fine-tune Network Management System (NMS) solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues escalated by NMS, ensuring smooth network operations.

- Network Topology Analysis:
- Examine and understand network topologies to map data flows through OT/ICS networks and identify interfaces between OT/ICS networks and systems.

- Security Design and Implementation:
- Participate in the design and implementation of system and network security controls.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the safety, integrity, availability, confidentiality, authentication, and non-repudiation of OT/ICS systems.

- On-Site Cybersecurity Activities:
- Visit sites to perform related cybersecurity activities, ensuring hands-on involvement in securing OT/ICS environments.

Qualifications:

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.

- Experience:
- Over 10 years of experience in information security, with significant experience in ISMS/CSMS development and implementation.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT/OT cybersecurity consultancy or operations, preferably in the oil and gas domain.

- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working on enterprise-wide projects with similar scopes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in security frameworks and standards (e.g., UAE IAS, ISA 62443, NIST, Shell DEP, ITIL).

- Certifications:
- Professional security certifications such as GICSP, CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISA 62443, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor.

- Specialized Knowledge:
- Content development and fine-tuning of use cases and correlation rules based on relevant attack vectors and the threat landscape of OT networks.
