Job Title: Specialist ENT Surgeon

As a Specialist ENT Surgeon, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. You will collaborate with other medical professionals, contribute to quality improvement programs, and ensure high standards of patient care while adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Medical Duties:
- Perform various ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) and head and neck surgeries.
- Provide expert consultation to other physicians for cases involving ENT issues, including diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records, documenting diagnosis, treatment, and future plans in accordance with established requirements.
- Participate in group conferences to offer specialist opinions on complex medical cases.
- Collaborate with other departmental staff to plan and integrate curative and preventive patient care programs.
- Oversee and operate approved curative-preventive programs related to your specialty.

- Clinical Oversight:
- Address technical, safety, and accident-related problems within the department.
- Monitor the performance of other staff members in the Otorhinolaryngology Service, ensuring quality and correctness, and provide training as needed.
- Attend staff meetings and participate in in-service activities as requested.

- Administrative Duties:
- Communicate with the Head of Department (HOD) for clarifications or to report unusual situations and actions taken.
- Support Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives and maintain confidentiality regarding patient and administrative information.

- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and infection control policies, standards, and procedures.
- Follow documented OSH procedures and instructions, including emergency and evacuation procedures.
- Report OSH hazards, incidents, near misses, and assist with risk assessments and incident reports.
- Comply with waste management procedures and policies.
- Attend relevant OSH and infection control training programs and mock drills.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems.

- Develop and adhere to a thorough understanding of hospital policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Medical Administrator.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Qualifications:
- Medical degree with specialized training in ENT (Otorhinolaryngology).
- Board certification or equivalent in ENT surgery.
- Proven experience in performing a range of ENT and head and neck surgeries.
