Job Summary:
The Buyer II at Worley is responsible for purchasing materials and equipment on a competitive basis as required by project or company needs. This role is fully qualified to handle all but the most complex purchasing activities, including both engineered and non-engineered items. The Buyer II operates at a fully proficient level, possessing a comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices within the discipline.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Purchase materials and equipment on a competitive basis as per project or company needs.
2. Handle both engineered and non-engineered items in purchasing activities.
3. Work at a fully proficient level with a deep understanding of principles and practices within the discipline.
4. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, subject to periodic review with other teams or work groups.
5. Work under supervision and self-initiated technical guidance with regular interaction with the supervisor.
6. Occasionally review work for accuracy and receive technical guidance to review work programs and advise on unusual features of assignments.
7. Utilize experience in the energy, chemicals, and manufacturing sector to enhance job performance.
8. Experience in supply chain functions, particularly in the procurement of goods and services.
9. Knowledge of developing procurement strategy, demand plan, and category management.
10. Ability to work with systems and applications (e.g., SAP) in German language.
11. Proficiency in German (C1 level) and English in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
12. Flexibility to work in global environments and align and support under pressure situations.

Qualifications:
- University Degree, or equivalent, in a related field or applicable discipline.
- Typically, 5+ years of relevant experience.
