Senior Process Improvement Engineer

As part of Valeo's commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to international standards, the company is seeking a passionate individual to join the team. The role involves participating in working groups to address improvement areas, following up on improvement actions, defining and implementing processes compliant with international standards, and contributing to the maintenance of quality management systems. The position also includes coaching and supporting junior members in process improvement, conducting team induction trainings, and providing consultation on process-related issues.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in working groups for improvement areas.
- Follow up on improvement actions assigned to other stakeholders.
- Define and implement processes compliant with international standards.
- Participate in closing process gaps identified through international standards assessments.
- Work with SEPG on maintaining the quality management system.
- Support the standardization of lessons learned and implementation of Improvement Proposals.
- Report the status of assigned tasks regularly.
- Coach and support the knowledge and skills ramp-up of junior Process Improvement engineers.
- Conduct team induction trainings.
- Consult Process Improvement team members on technical issues.
- Coach Research & Development teams applying new concepts/methodologies.
- Support Research & Development teams in identifying gaps from international standards.
- Close any identified process gaps through external/internal assessments.
- Act as a consultant for process-related issues.
- Participate in complex and challenging Process Improvement initiatives.
- Conduct process training.
- Report the status of owned tasks regularly.

Qualifications:
- 0 to 5 years of experience in Software Process Improvement, Software Quality Assurance, Software Quality Auditing, Software Development, or Software Testing.
- Knowledge of International process standards and methodologies (CMMI, A-Spice, ISO TS 16949, Agile methodologies).
- Preferred: Embedded Software Development knowledge.
