Job Title: Inspector - QA/QC (Refractory) API

We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA/QC Inspector specializing in refractory materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in inspecting and testing industrial project materials and systems, particularly in oil and gas or petrochemical projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Inspection & Testing:
- Perform QC inspection and testing of industrial project materials, equipment, systems, and facilities during construction and pre-commissioning phases.
- Conduct inspections and tests related to refractory materials, ensuring they meet project specifications and quality standards.

- Compliance Verification:
- Verify contractor compliance with contract requirements through document review, inspections, and testing functions.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 QMS requirements and project-specific standards.

- Documentation & Reporting:
- Document inspection results, test reports, and non-conformance issues.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality assurance activities.

- Standards & Procedures:
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements, engineering discipline drawings, standards, material specifications, and QC inspection procedures.
- Apply understanding of construction methods and QC test procedures specific to refractory materials.

- Communication:
- Effectively communicate findings and issues with project teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiently read, write, and speak English for documentation and reporting purposes.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Experience:
- Minimum of six (6) years of direct work experience performing QC inspection and testing in industrial projects.
- At least three (3) years of experience specifically related to refractory materials in oil and gas production or petrochemical projects.

- Certification:
- API 936 certification is mandatory.

- Skills:
- In-depth understanding of ISO 9001:2015 QMS requirements and inspection disciplines.
- Ability to perform inspections and testing with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
