QC Manager

Job Title: QC Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified QC Manager to oversee and ensure the quality of our capital projects construction and pre-commissioning activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quality control management, particularly within the oil and gas or petrochemical industries.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Quality Control Management:
- Manage and supervise the quality control team, ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 QMS requirements and project specifications.
- Oversee quality assurance activities throughout the construction and pre-commissioning phases of capital projects.

- Standards & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with international quality standards and project-specific requirements.
- Interpret and apply quality management systems (QMS) requirements and engineering standards.

- Training & Supervision:
- Supervise and mentor a team of quality personnel (minimum of ten), providing guidance and support.
- Conduct training and development programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.

- Auditing & Reporting:
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Prepare and present quality reports, highlighting issues, corrective actions, and improvements.

- Project Oversight:
- Manage quality control processes for industrial coating, insulation, passive fire protection, and other relevant activities in oil and gas or petrochemical projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an internationally recognized university (four or five years), or
- High school diploma with twelve (12) or more years of relevant experience.

- Experience:
- Minimum of seven (7) years of direct work experience as a QC Manager or QC Supervisor in capital projects construction and pre-commissioning quality.
- Five (5) or more years of experience managing quality for industrial coating, insulation, and passive fire protection activities in oil and gas or petrochemical projects.

- Certifications:
- Passed an internationally accredited Quality Auditor training course (e.g., Lead Auditor-ISO 9001:2015-IRCA or ASQ), or approved equivalent for the 2015 version of ISO 9001.

- Skills:
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Strong ability to interpret, audit, and apply quality standards and engineering practices.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
