Job Title: Quality Controller – Catering Establishment

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Controller for our catering establishment. In this role, you will be responsible for upholding stringent hygiene standards, managing food safety, and maintaining supplier relationships. You will work closely with the Regional Hygiene Supervisor and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with catering food safety and hygiene requirements across various sites.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Hygiene Standards & Food Safety:
- Establish and monitor strict hygiene standards across all catering operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and suitability requirements.

- Quality Control Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive catering quality control strategy for different sites.
- Focus on client catering hygiene standards and compliance throughout all stages of catering operations.

- Inspections & Audits:
- Conduct weekly hygiene inspections and audits of each site kitchen.
- Report findings and site performance to the Regional Hygiene Supervisor.

- Reporting & Coordination:
- Provide accurate and timely hygiene and food safety reports.
- Collaborate with the Regional Hygiene Supervisor to address any issues or improvements needed.

- Additional Duties:
- Undertake any other responsibilities as specified by the Regional Hygiene Supervisor.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma from an approved catering institution or in hotel management.

- Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial or hotel catering at the management level.

- Skills:
- Good command of the English language.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong quality control focus and passion for monitoring catering quality and safety.
- Ability to train and motivate staff.

- Attributes:
- Self-motivated and proactive with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel within different regions of the country.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service excellence.
