Job Title: Airport Operations Control Center Officer

Roles & Responsibilities:

As an Airport Operations Control Center Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of airport activities. Your responsibilities include:

- Gate and Stand Management:
- Allocate parking stands at Doha International Airport (DIA) through the Gate Management System to accommodate air traffic, ensuring adherence to safety restrictions.

- Flight Data Processing:
- Handle the day-to-day flight data processing and validation for the operational day and the following day in the Airport Operational Database.
- Ensure that all operational data changes are updated in the database from the day of operations and up to 6 days after.

- Data Monitoring and Quality Assurance:
- Monitor the data flow across all AOCC systems to ensure accuracy and high-quality data for all stakeholders and airport users.
- Oversee the performance of the AOCC systems and related interfaces to ensure continuous operation during shifts and implement contingency measures if necessary.

- Information Display Systems:
- Monitor the Electronic Visual Information Display System and the staff information system, ensuring accurate data display for all passenger traffic.

- Radar and Communications Monitoring:
- Keep track of the approach radar, Advanced Surface Movement Guidance & Control System Radar, VHF Aeronautical frequencies, and SELEX updates.
- Deliver the Ten Miles Out and Actual Landing times to all relevant stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Completion of Airport/Airline operations courses such as passenger, ramp, and cargo handling.
- Minimum of 4 years of job-related experience, particularly in roles related to aerodrome operations, ground handling, or the airline environment.

- Skills & Knowledge:
- Experience in a comparable function within the aviation industry is essential.
- Strong understanding of airport operations and data management systems.
- Excellent monitoring and data validation skills to ensure operational accuracy and efficiency.
