Job Title: Facade Structural Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design and analyze structural components of building facades to ensure safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings and specifications for facade systems, including calculations and material requirements.
- Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate structural design requirements with overall facade aesthetics and functionality.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, identify structural issues, and provide technical solutions.
- Review and approve shop drawings and samples submitted by contractors to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes.
- Perform structural calculations and analysis to determine load capacities, wind resistance, and other design requirements.
- Stay updated on industry standards, best practices, and building codes related to facade design and construction.
- Assist in the development of cost estimates, proposals, and project schedules for facade engineering projects.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters within the team.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality facade designs and solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in facade engineering.
- Proven experience working on high-rise buildings or complex facade projects.
- Strong knowledge of international building codes, standards, and regulations related to facade design.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in complex engineering scenarios.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools for structural analysis and design.
