Job Description

Job Title: Legal Compliance Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Legal Compliance Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

Contract Review and Validations: Reviewing and validating contracts with customers, vendors, distributors, and other stakeholders.
Corporate Governance: Managing all secretariat duties for the company, ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements.
Bank Legal Support: Providing legal support for activities such as corporate guarantees related to banking.
Legal Document Maintenance: Maintaining legal documents, including licenses (e.g., Industrial Licenses).
Project Work: Involvement in various projects, such as obtaining Arab League qualification for exemption on import duties within the trading area.
Legal Entities Restructuring: Participating in the restructuring of legal entities as necessary.
Legal Compliance Program: Developing and implementing an effective legal compliance program to ensure adherence to regulations and policies.
Policy and Agreement Drafting: Drafting, modifying, and implementing company policies, supplier contracts, sales agreements, and distribution agreements.
Compliance Risk Assessment: Evaluating business activities, such as investments, to assess compliance risks.
Procedure Revision: Periodically revising procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
Regulatory Awareness: Staying informed about regulatory developments within and outside the company, as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
Reporting: Preparing reports for senior management and proactively auditing legal documents and processes to identify loopholes and suggest improvements.
External Auditors: Collaborating with external auditors and providing support to the HR department when needed.
Crisis Management: Developing plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation effectively.
Employee Education: Educating and training employees on regulations and industry practices when required, and addressing employee concerns or questions related to legal compliance.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university.
Qualified lawyer with in-depth knowledge of legal compliance.
Methodical and diligent with excellent planning abilities.
Analytical mind with the ability to understand the complexities of procedures and regulations.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Integrity and professional ethics.
Proven experience as a Legal Compliance Manager.
In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping.
Strong business acumen combined with a dedication to legality.
3-5 years of experience in a corporate company.
