Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Information Security

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Project Leadership: Lead the planning and implementation of information security projects, ensuring they are executed within time, budget, and scope constraints.
- Project Management: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, incorporating detailed risk assessments, resource allocation, and milestone tracking specific to information security.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate regular communication across project teams and with key stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure network protection and data security solutions at cost-effective rates.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential security vulnerabilities and risks across the IT landscape and develop robust mitigation strategies.
- Best Practices Implementation: Establish and implement best practices for information security project management, including tools, techniques, and methodologies that enhance project outcomes.
- IT Collaboration: Collaborate with the IT department to align information security projects with broader organizational IT strategies and initiatives.
- Training Development: Develop training programs for project team members on information security awareness and procedures.
- Executive Reporting: Participate in executive meetings to report on project status and decision-making processes related to project direction.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and proactively address any discrepancies with proposed solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Requirements:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Extensive project management experience, specifically in managing information security or cybersecurity projects.
- Skills: Strong leadership skills and proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as Prince2, PMP, CISSP, or CISM are highly desirable.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrable experience managing technical security projects and delivering end-to-end solutions such as EDR, Data Loss Prevention, Identity and Access Management, and Microsoft E5 security suite.
