Job Description

Job Title: Wait Staff

Job Purpose:

Deliver exemplary customer service by attending to customer tables with professionalism and efficiency, aiming to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide positive and professional service to all guests, exceeding their expectations.

2. Take and process customer orders accurately and promptly.

3. Follow brand guidelines regarding the sequence of service standards.

4. Anticipate and meet customer needs, maintaining attentiveness without being intrusive.

5. Possess thorough knowledge of menu items to effectively describe and recommend products.

6. Ensure adherence to food quality and consistency according to Brand and Company standards.

7. Manage table setup and closure efficiently, minimizing delays between turnovers.

8. Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times.

9. Work within operational standards to maintain compliance with Company and Municipality guidelines.

10. Complete administrative tasks accurately and promptly, including customer database management.

11. Handle cash transactions and reconcile receipts with sales figures.

12. Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

1. Cost control and waste reduction measures.

2. Adherence to work standards, including hygiene, cleanliness, and discipline.

3. Timely completion of assigned work and achievement of targets.

4. Customer satisfaction and feedback, both internal and external.

Education and Experience:

- Certification in Food and Beverage/Catering preferred.

- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the catering industry.

Functional Skills:

- Proficiency in English (verbal, reading, and writing).

- Passion for and understanding of the hospitality industry.
