Job Description:

Role: Waiter/Waitress

Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:

Planning & Organizing:
- Set up the assigned Food & Beverage outlet timely according to meal settings and opening hours.
- Contribute to meeting/maximizing the monthly revenue budget for the respective outlet.
- Control operational expenses.

Operations:
- Attend regular training sessions on guest care, product knowledge, grooming standards, up-selling, etc.
- Work as per instructions from the immediate Supervisor and duty shifts.
- Communicate directly with guests for menu presentation, recommendations, order handling, and payment.
- Ensure proper appearance and grooming while on duty.
- Handle guest greeting, seating, and maintain a professional/friendly relationship.
- Familiarize with all menus, promotions, and relevant issues concerning the outlet.
- Report cleanliness and maintenance issues to the immediate Supervisor.
- Handle guest complaints as per instructions or consult the immediate Supervisor.
- Complete mise-en-place work according to the whole day service requirements.
- Report equipment failures/problems to the Maintenance Department.
- Participate in training/development schemes recommended by senior management.
- Attend regular departmental briefings and contribute to open communication within the assigned team.
- Observe high standards of personal hygiene.
- Maintain clean and organized side stations at all times.
- Anticipate customers' needs.
- Be flexible in assisting around different areas of the hotel.
- Adhere to Accor policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health, and Safety.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned.
Administration:
- Work with the hostess to ensure the name tag is complete and in proper position.
- Hand over business cards and database to the hostess.
- Ensure all bills are handed over to the cashier.
- Ensure all items are charged accordingly in the micros system.
- Assist the hostess in record-keeping.

Generic Aspects on Hygiene/Personal Safety/Environment/Confidentiality:
- Ensure proper care of all equipment and furniture.
- Be familiar with hotel policies, safety regulations, and the Environment Charter.
- Adhere to Rules & Regulations in the Heartiest Handbook.
- Safeguard confidential records and information.

Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management

Additional Information:
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
