Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections to maintain optimal cash flow.
- Budgeting: Coordinate monthly and annual budgeting processes, providing insights and support for strategic financial planning.
- Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgets and actuals, offering actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and facilitating auditor requests.
- Policy Implementation: Oversee the implementation of financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and control.
- Financial Forecasting: Assist in financial forecasting and modeling to guide decision-making and resource allocation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that drive business performance.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain and update financial records in accounting software, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Team Development: Train and mentor junior finance staff, fostering their professional development and enhancing team productivity.
- Ledger and MIS Analysis: Ensure scrutiny of ledgers and conduct MIS analysis of all ledgers by the 12th of each month.

Desired Candidate Profile:
- Professional Certification: CA (Chartered Accountant) or CA Intern is highly desirable to ensure expertise in financial management.
- Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred for advanced understanding.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills in financial modeling and data analysis techniques.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and derive meaningful insights for decision-making.
- Team Handling: Demonstrated team handling skills and experience in managing and mentoring junior staff.
